Snow, decorated trees, illuminated cities, Santa Clauses smiling at one of the balconies of the houses, shop windows full of gifts, Christmas carols in the background … Christmas.
Already at the beginning of December you can feel this bright and magical atmosphere, which inevitably makes you think of Christmas. But the most incredible thing about this time is undoubtedly the traditions. Every city, every country and even every family has its own variants: here in Italy some families spend Christmas Eve with relatives and eat fish, others with friends and eat tortellini. In Japan, for example, fried chicken is eaten on Christmas Eve. It is our tradition to decorate the Christmas tree on December 8th, while in America they do it on Thanksgiving Day in late November. Different traditions make Christmas unique for everyone.
In Italy the panettone is one of the most popular and warmest traditions and should not be missing on any Christmas table! We notice that immediately, because as early as mid-November, when we walk through the supermarkets or look in the shop windows of grocery and confectionery stores, we cannot avoid seeing the king of Christmas sweets.
This year, celebrate the Italian Christmas tradition with a handcrafted panettone. Pre-order it on our website: Classic Panettone!
