The Italian wine passito “Trenta di Saporare” is produced starting from the “Malbo Gentile” vine, an old native vineyard situated on the hills of Reggio Emilia, located in Emilia Romagna food valley. This grape variety is characterized by a loose bunch and small berries. Sweetness and soft taste, typical features of this Italian wine, are obtained by leaving the grapes to dry on the plant, after cutting the shoots. At the end of this natural drying, which lasts for about a month, the grapes are pressed and the must is ready for fermentation. The subsequent aging in wood develops a product with aromas of red fruit with alcohol and balsamic notes.
